Financing for the North Mostar-South Mostar section of the Vc corridor has been completed, the Federation government announced after a meeting of Prime Minister Fadil Novalic with Susan Goeransson, Director Infrastructure Europe at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ( EBRD).

The entire Prenj tunnel construction project is estimated at 600 million euros ($642.5 million), financed by loans from the EBRD and the European Investment Bank (EIB), as well as grants from the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).

The European transport corridor Vc has a total length of 700 km and connects the Adriatic port of Ploce in Croatia to Budapest in Hungary via Bosnia. Its length in Bosnia is about 340 km.

The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serbian Republic.
