Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge reckons Conor Gallagher has been one of the Premier League’s best loan signings this season.
The 21-year-old is on loan for one season at Crystal Palace by London rival Chelsea and has already received rave reviews during his three months at Selhurst Park.
What do Gallagher’s statistics say?
Gallagher moved temporarily to Palace after impressive loan spells with Charlton and West Brom.
However, even the most optimistic Eagles supporter wouldn’t have considered the midfielder to excel as much as he did.

Gallagher, valued at £ 13.5million by Transfermarkt, got the ball rolling at Palace with a two-goal posting in September to give Patrick Vieira’s side a 2-2 draw at West Ham.
Two weeks later, the Blues player was at the heart of the action in another London derby, winning a penalty and an assist as the Eagles recorded their first victory under the Frenchman against Tottenham.

Gallagher also won the penalty against Brighton but had not officially been directly involved in a league goal since the Spurs game before Saturday’s trip to Manchester City.
But the England Under-21 man made up for lost time by setting up Wilfried Zaha’s opener before sealing another three points for Palace at the Etihad Stadium by scoring their second.

Taking the two penalties into account, Gallagher has been involved in seven of Palace’s 13 Premier League goals this season.
With that in mind, Bridge believes the Chelsea academy graduate has been one of the campaign’s best loan additions.
What did Bridge say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: “Conor Gallagher, possibly one of the best loan signings of the season.”
Does Gallagher have a future at Chelsea?
Thomas Tuchel has several quality players in these central midfield areas, but if Gallagher continues to play for Palace and show impressive numbers, he surely won’t go overlooked.
Only right-back Reece James (4) has scored more Premier League goals than Gallagher, as he edged out all Blues midfielders except Mason Mount, whose three goals were all scored in the same match against Norwich.
Moreover, the three assists he provided would place him second in the Chelsea squad, behind only Mateo Kovacic, who has enjoyed a productive campaign with five appearances in nine league appearances.
Gallagher still has a ways to go before Tuchel considers it, but more performances like he produced against City, and he will surely knock on the door.
